Being a member of the Chariton High School Drill Team is very rewarding. We focus not only on improving our dance skills, but how to apply core values that in the end help us reach our goals. All while taking pride in representing our school and community. Open to all full time students who will be in the 9th-12th grade during the upcoming school year.

PERFORM

•Community Events & Parades
•Varsity Home Games
•Spirited Pep Assemblies
•State Competitions with other Iowa High Schools

INSPIRE

•Teach youth in our community dance skills and perform with them on the track at varsity games
•Share your passion of dance with those attending sporting events

OPPORTUNITY

•Participate in ISDTA events
•All Iowa Honor Drill Team audition and performances
•Summer camp training with top dancers from around the country

MEMORIES

•Early morning and choreography practices

REGISTER

Required - No Exceptions

•Everyone registers online if you are considering to audition for the team
•You MUST bring the "Application and Permission Form" to your first practice on June 1, 2023
•A parent/gaurdian signature is required on the permission form to be on our team, and your signed commitment to all the requirements of being a member on the Chariton Drill Team.

REQUIREMENTS

•June 1 @ 4-6 PM rehearsal - learn routine
•June 2 @ 4 PM closed auditions
•June 2 at 8 PM Results posted HERE and on FACEBOOK by Coach Chelsey

SPECIFICS

Chariton Charger Pride

Our team works hard to prepare and be our best for all of our performances. Many of our members are involved in volleyball, basketball, studio dance, cheer, and other school clubs. We take PRIDE in representing Chariton.
